For a photo assignment in a digital techniques class, I spent time with Saudi Arabia native Hassan Alsarawi, who came to Chicago in summer 2012 to finish his medical studies. Hassan and I had met at an ESL Meetup group several months before. Like a true Saudi, he was incredibly generous with his time and friendship and more than game for a photoshoot at his Gold Coast apartment.
